Maria Veronica Amor ballet class has existed for more than twenty years here in Eastern Visayas. It is spearheaded by Maria Veronica Amor who is a native of the region. She started ballet dancing in her local performances in Manila where their family has lived. She has performed several stage productions playing different lead roles in Philippine Ballet Theatre and Dance Theatre Philippines.
Miss Amor was so diligent that she was able to pursue and finish her studies even ahead of a semester despite the hectic schedules she has. After college, she settled her life with his family and found a have in her native town, Tacloban. Then there she continued her passion where she founded a ballet class in the place where she taught and shared her talent with young kids in Eastern Visayas. At the same time, her elder daughter Muñeca, who has started dancing when she was three, is now also assisting her mom in teaching ballet.
It is ballet that keeps Miss Amor a gorgeous woman. And it is her love for ballet that young Waraynon potential ballerinas keep shining on the proscenium.
